Changes for this year:

  •  Offering ACH direct debit of fees for services on day of refund deposit with authorization. Payment up front is encouraged to cut back on additional costs. Checks can be made payable to Susan Baum Tax Service. Will hold check until date of deposit also. 

  •  Costs have changed on several items and return types.  Unfortunately everything has gone up in price.

  •  If you need a cost for your return prior to drop off or upload please contact via email as that is best method for easy questions.

  •  Considering uploading documents to save you time and travel expenses. 

  •  Property Tax/Rent Rebates can be completed at a cost (miniumun $25).  Consider having completed at local representative office at no cost to you.  Over the years Rebates have been harder and harder to track via mail so Local Representative offices have a way to efile the returns for you at no cost. 

  • Please consider capturing your files with an app on your phone and send secure to our portal. or Scan and upload documents. 

  • We offer various Signature options for signing documents prior to filing.  We must have all 8879 forms signed prior to filing returns.  With current IRS procedures, it is recommended to EFILE all returns.  Paper returns will be charged additional fees for printing extra copy.

 Client Portals have become popular. Most likely, you are already using one whether it is at your doctor’s office, your   financial institution, or child’s school.   Over the past 29 years, we have strived to provide our clients with relevant   technological services.  There are chat options and email options for communicatioins that cuts down on phone calls. 

 Our Client Portal creates an instant and secure online channel of communication between you and your tax preparer.   To best ensure your privacy, and in keeping with current federal privacy laws, we cannot fax documentation that contains   personally identifiable information.  Client portals provide a secure and encrypted exchange of your financial   information between you and our office.  You can access your documents on the portal at any time and no need to wait   for a copy in the mail or come to the office and pickup. 

Using the portal is optional; however, it is a streamline communication system that will allow us to serve you better.
